- How have I achieved this??
Well, I think I have!
To be very honest, i really don’t like to give away too much information about myself nor my interests to publicly accessed webpages. But this time i think i have broken out of my shell and achieved a small milestone.
It may not seem like much, but by having the programs of del.icio.us, Fliker, and blogroll displaying my personal up-loads people have the opportunity to get to know me virtually.
The del.icio.us website hosts links I’m currently using for my assignments. It also has some websits that are my personal interest.
Could a person get to know me through viewing this site? I would say yes, but not entirely. If they wanted to know about what I’m currently studying that would say defiantly Theology. But, I do not use that site only for the assignments. Some websites i have added are personal jokes I’m sharing with my friends. Such as the first URL link – the script for ‘V for Vandetta’ – as usual there is a story to follow why I have it there. To keep it short it is purely an entertainment thing “Yes, music. My music. You see. Evey, I am a performer.” Then I’ve also added poetry, news articles and prayers. I enjoy them and find this program a really good way to store access them.
People are more than welcome to view them. I hope the audience will find something they will enjoy
Fliker has an image of me and a group of uni friends from a trivia night! This is out of my norm! It also has an image of mobile phones that are lined up on a table. I encourage you to read the story as a background!
I would add more images, but I would rather find a more secure program so people aren’t able to copy them. I encourage you (if you are a member) to view my bebo.com, or my MySpace or Facebook. I have up-loaded images there; they depict more about me and are personalised. I just have an issue of people copying them and a fear it may be used in unlawful ways.
(N.B: these links are active and reach straight to my webpages i have created using these programs)
Finally, the ‘Blogroll’. To be perfectly honest I find this application to be very handy and ‘personalised’. The links on the roll all have been used by me simultaneously as I have progressively blogged. Obviously not all at once; they were just references, interest pages, useful sites for education and used in this assignment.
Each area has a little bit of me in the links. They consist of my interests, my studies and what I aspire to do. I have made them as personal as I am comfortable to share with the world of the World Wide Web in 2.0.
On an extra note, the language of the blog is highly informal. This is will defiantly show character and personalise my work.
